Product: eHarmony.com Membership
Company: eHarmony.com
Company URL: http://www.eharmony.com
Cost: $59.95 for a one-month membership. Per month charges decrease with longer subscription agreements.
Consumer: Singles
The purpose of an eHarmony.com membership is for singles to meet and develop personal relationships.
Pros: The eHarmony.com idea of matchmaking is based on compatibility unlike other matchmaking services. The Compatibility Matching System has even been trademarked. When a user first signs up for the service, they fill out questionnaires that consist of 436 questions (a $40 value) and receive their personality profile. That profile is then used to match them to other eHarmony.com members. This narrows the field of choices down from hundreds of possibilities to only a few.
Most online dating services, the matchmaking is done by the members themselves and is based on a couple of paragraphs of type and a picture. At eHarmony.com, the matchmaking is done based upon 29 different personality factors. There is a very good success rate. About ninety eHarmony.com members end up getting married every single day.
Cons: You may not find love right away, don't expect to much and you won't be disappointed. Go out and have fun.
Guarantee: There is no guarantee of satisfaction, but there is a free trial and memberships may be cancelled.
Value for money: An eHarmony.com membership appears to be a very good value for singles who are looking for love.
